(An excerpt from the Dave Matthews Band website)We are deeply saddened that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. LeRoi had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin an intensive physical rehabilitation program.

Super sad story, I actually almost cried in the conference the other day when I heard the news... I love him, and his music, and the concert this Saturday will certainly be void without a 10 minute sax solo by LeRoi.....

This week I had a breastfeeding training class that was good and then attended mega day and NRP. It was a little rough waking up in the morning and getting motivated to go to work lol. I had lunch with Kris D. at Zinc Bistro at Kierland Commons, it was super yummy, but I'm thinking it will be added to the "doesn't tolerate post gallbladder"

A New York Style Parisian Bistro. A 4000 sq, foot restaurant that is designed with contemporary sensibilities, yet returns the nostalgic ambiance of an authentic Parisian bistro. Round marble bistro tables and wicker chairs spill out onto the sidewalk, offering a kind of people watching one might indulge in, along Boulevard Saint-Germain. Zinc Bistro also offer a romantic garden patio secluded deep in the restaurant, lit by candles during the evening, creating an unforgettable ambiance, or a relaxing atmosphere near our fountain in the afternoon.
This is a wonderful place to eat, here is a link to their menus. http://www.zincbistroaz.com/menus/
Kris and I each ordered a sandwich but split it so we each could try something different. We had the GRILLED CURRY CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH - (Shaved Almonds, Raisins, And Celery On Foccacia) and the CROQUE MONSIEUR, SOURDOUGH, BECHAMEL, HAM AND GRUYERE. Totally delicious!
